The Amberley makes for a great dive, she is virtually intact standing some 10mtrs proud of the seabed. She is hard over on her starboard side with her deck 40 degrees to seabed, bows east.
The wreck of the Amberley was purchased by BSAC in November 1978 and later sold to the Peterborough BSAC branch who still own her.
According to some records the prop is reported as being salvaged, however the prop was in-fact stolen one year while club members were planning to remove it themselves as a summer project for there club.
